Department of Atos where several big customers outsource their IT environment. The department is responsible for several backup/archive products, several brands of tape libraries, HP and EMC2 disk systems, NetApp and SAN networks. The sub-department TSM was responsible for TSM Server and Client-side support, except the restore requests.
- Lead for TSM sub-department location Amsterdam - Responsible for backup results, capacity planning, training Indian colleague’s, procedures standardisation of TSM servers and clients. Define tasks for 1st and 2nd line TSM support.
- Member of Storage-infra Knowledge Group - One of four people who makes recommendations for improvements and cost-reduction in storage infrastructure, like what hardware for what reason in some configuration, what saves so much money in this period of time.
- Senior Specialist – TSM Redesign plus upgrade to version 5.5. Advanced TSM support, Customer contact for backup improvements and upgrade/implementation projects. Several tools build and bought plus implementation.
- Buddy – Guidance and training for Indian colleagues who are temporary in The Netherlands. Work related, but also social and personal.
